About Me
Richard D. Terrell is a native of Minneapolis, MN. He is the father of three; Zyree, Raymond and Vivian.
Richard has a passion for community, education, and youth development. For the last 15 years, he has served at various schools working with and supporting students, families, and teachers. He currently serves as an Assistant Principal with Saint Paul Public Schools.
Richard Terrell holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications and a minor in Biblical Studies (North Central University), a Master of Arts in Theological Studies (University of Northwestern, St. Paul) and an Educational Specialist degree with a K-12 School Principal license (Concordia University, St. Paul).
In 2018, he started a youth leadership development program called R.E.A.L Leaders that focuses on providing black and brown young men skills around leadership, social awareness, self identity and financial literacy.
He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and currently serves as the Vice-President and the Associate Editor of the Sphinx with Gamma Xi Lambda chapter.
Richard Terrell’s desire is to equip and empower people to exercise their given gifts and talents. He has dedicated his life to inspire, encourage, empower, and motivate individuals in his community and the world. He continues to take on larger and more challenging projects with a commitment to making the world a better place.
Rev. Terrell remains an exemplary model of leadership for countless numbers of people and is a true “servant of the people.” Richard’s favorite quote is, “Intelligence plus character–that is the goal of true education!” from the Late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
